Double Penetration Records is a brand new digital Drum & Bass label hailing from the vast expanses of Russia. Committed to bringing you top quality DnB from Russia and around the globe, the label's first release from Alex Prestige & Nik Itch stamps that intent like a might giant stamping his foot on the puny villagers below.

Heading up this stonking, double A side release is "Revenge." As soon as the sweeping strings and film score like drums start, you know we're going to be in for a special ride here. The track drops into a heavily syncopate Drumstep beat, which still manages to keep enough energy to have ravers reeling from the powerful bass stabs and eery fx. The eery feeling of the track is heightened by the spoken word sample that gives this track it's name, and the percussion switches back and forth effortlessly between a few different styles.

"Hobo" is the name of the AA track here, but rest assured - this won't be going homeless. Switching the beat up to a more traditional, skippy affair, this track has you nodding your head like like a crazed chicken from the off. As we progress through the blistering bass morphs and builds around the skippy beat whilst freaky pads, fx and builds help to add more depth than the average bathosphere manages to see on a trip down a deep sea trench.

With such a storming first release Double Penetration is clearly going to be a label to watch, so make sure you get involved early and pick up these two monsters from Alex Prestige and Nik Itch when they are out next week.
